David A. Bubier

David A. Bubier, Director, Chairman and President of The MINT, has been a banker for over 45 years. Mr. Bubier began his career in 1969 as a credit investigator/analyst with Southern National Bank (“Southern”; later renamed Texas American Bank/Houston), a major commercial bank in downtown Houston. He managed the Note Department, the Credit Department, the Real Estate Loan Department, and the Commercial Lending Division. His final assignment at Southern was Executive Vice President and Manager of the Administrative Group which included the Operations, Accounting, Loan Administration and Trust functions. In 1984 Mr. Bubier left Southern to become an organizer of Kingwood Bank and served as its President from 1984 until its sale in 1995. From 1995 until its sale in 1996, Mr. Bubier was President of FirstBanc Savings Association of Texas. In 1997, he led a group which purchased control of Main Street Bank and served as its Chairman and President from March 1997 until its sale to an investment group in September 2004. Mr. Bubier remained with Main Street as its Regional President and Director through April 2007 when he left to organize The MINT.

Mr. Bubier received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brown University in 1969, an MBA from University of Houston in 1971, and a Banking Degree from Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU in 1977. He has taught numerous courses in accounting, economics, analyzing financial statements and loan administration at Houston Community College, American Institute of Banking, and banking schools at LSU and University of Wisconsin. He has been an active volunteer in the community, serving on the Boards of the Village Learning Center, Lake Houston YMCA, Keep Kingwood Green, Kingwood Youth Soccer Association, the Cleveland Rotary and the Pines Montessori School and serving as Head Coach of the Humble Kingwood Special Olympics Basketball Team.

Ed Chiu

Edward K. Chiu, Director, is President and Principal of Echco Construction, Inc., a 25 year old, Houston-based commercial general contractor providing design and build services ranging from shopping centers to medical facilities. Mr. Chiu is a 1975 graduate of Texas A & M University with a BS Degree in Building Construction and lives with his family in Sugar Land.

Michael Clapp

Michael W. Clapp, Director, is the Broker/Owner of two Keller Williams Realty offices in north Houston (Kingwood and Professionals). Prior to joining Keller Williams, Mr. Clapp worked for Kingwood Bank from 1984 to 1996. Joining the bank after graduating from Texas A & M, he rose to become COO and Cashier, while also handling a commercial loan portfolio. Mr. Clapp served as Director of Main Street Bank from September 1997 to October 2004 and was a member of its Directors Loan Committee.

Mr. Clapp and his family have been residents of Kingwood since 1971 and he has been active in several community organizations (Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis, Lake Houston YMCA, Women’s Council of Realtors, Kingwood United Methodist Church and Leadership North Houston). In addition to his undergraduate degree in Finance from Texas A & M in 1984, Mr. Clapp graduated from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking as a member of the Class XXXV.

Don Le

Don N. Le, Director, has been a clinical Director of Centro Dental since 1998, providing care and leadership for 2 Houston area Dental Clinics. Additionally, Dr. Le is a clinical Assistant Professor and serves as a Board Member of the Advisory Council to the Dean of University of Texas School of Dentistry. In 1997 Dr. Le helped found the Houston Asian Dental Society and was its President from 2001 to 2007. Dr. Le is the owner and President of Maison Builders, a high end residential builder and commercial developer/builder. Dr. Le received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Baylor College of Dentistry.

Reagan Tielke

Reagan T. Tielke, Director, is President and Principal of Homeway Mortgage headquartered in Katy Texas providing a broad range of real estate lending services in Texas, Louisiana, Colorado and Florida. Additionally, Mr. Tielke has developed, owned and managed several real estate projects and provides private financing options for commercial real estate. Mr. Tielke graduated from Texas A & M with a BS in Agribusiness in 2003 and from UTSA with an MBA and concentration in International Business in 2005.
